Our Teacher
Dr. Yogi Vijay Rayal was born into a Brahmin family and started his journey into Vedic philosophy of Mantra, Tantra, Yantra & Hatha Yoga from the age of 8, as a part of his family tradition. Throughout the years, Vijay continually practiced and further developed a scientific-therapeutic understanding of Hatha and Tantra Yoga. Dr. Vijay earned his Doctorate degree in Yoga & Naturopathy and after teaching in India and abroad, he established Maun Van – Silent Forest Yoga Village, where he is currently teaching the practice of Hatha Yoga, Reiki & Naturopathy for over 20 years.

How to get to Maun Van ashram
Maunvan Silent forest Yog village
From Rishikesh – The most economic way to reach our center is by a shared van from a taxi stand in Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula or Tapovan to Neelkanth Temple. Ask the driver to drop you off at Maun Van, from there it’s a 5-minute walk. It should cost around ₹200-₹300.
There is also an option to take a private taxi to the center. It should cost around ₹1,200-₹1,300 from Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula or Tapovan.
